How long does it take to receive authentication results?

We process authentication orders within 24 hours during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST). Results are sent directly to your email, so be sure to check your inbox and spam folder.

What type of items do you authenticate?

We specialize in authenticating accessible to high luxury handbags, wallets, clothing, belts, shoes, and small leather goods from major designer brands. If you’re unsure about a specific item, feel free to reach out to us for clarification. We do not authenticate Hermes, VC&A, & Cartier Jewelry.

What should I provide for authentication?

To authenticate your item, you’ll need to provide clear, high-resolution photos of the item, including its front, back, inside, hardware, logos, stitching, serial stamps, and care tags if applicable. If for any reason you can't find certain stamps, we'll guide you with a photo request email.

What happens if my item is determined to be fake?

If we determine that your item is counterfeit, we offer a Counterfeit Statement with Comparisons service. This detailed visual highlights the differences between the counterfeit item and an authentic version. Our aim is to equip you with the information you need to take your next steps with confidence.

Can I authenticate an item before purchasing it?

Absolutely! If you're considering a purchase, we can authenticate the item using photos provided by the seller, as long as there are enough images available. Additionally, we’re happy to reassess the item once you receive it. If the photos provided are insufficient for authentication, we will issue you a refund. Please note that we cannot authenticate items listed on The RealReal website due to insufficient photos provided for proper evaluation.

How do you ensure the authenticity of your items?

Every item we sell goes through a rigorous in-house authentication process. For chipped bags and Hermès leather bags and wallets, we also utilize Entrupy technology. We guarantee that every item listed on our website is 100% authentic, or you’ll receive a full refund.

What is your return or exchange policy?

All sales are final. We are committed to providing a seamless shopping experience and ensuring customer satisfaction with our curated collection of pre-loved luxury goods. Please review product details, descriptions, and images carefully before making your purchase. If you have any questions or need additional information about an item, feel free to contact us prior to checkout.

We stand by the authenticity of every item we sell. In the rare event that you believe an item is not authentic, we offer a full money-back guarantee. Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns about authenticity, and we will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.

Do you offer payment plans or financing options?

Yes! We’ve partnered with ShopPay to provide flexible financing options, making luxury more accessible. Simply select the payment plan option at checkout to explore your options. Please note that ShopPay is a third-party service, and approval is subject to their terms and conditions.

Consignment

How does your consignment process work?

Consigning with us is simple! Start by submitting your item for review. Once we agree on a selling price, you can either ship your item to our office or, if you're local, schedule an appointment to drop it off at our North Atlanta location. After your item sells, we take care of shipping it to the buyer and send your earnings at your request.

What is your commission structure?

We offer a competitive commission structure, with rates ranging from 50% to 80% of the final sale price, depending on the item's value.

How long will my item be listed for sale?

Items are typically listed for up to 90 days. If your item doesn’t sell within that time, we’ll work with you to adjust pricing or return the item.
