If you're like me—constantly needing new looks for events but not wanting to commit to the price for just a couple of wears—fashion rentals might be your answer. I spent the past few months testing Nuuly and FashionPass so you don’t have to and here is my take to help you make your choice:

- Plus Size, Petite & Tall friendly (I even noticed adaptive clothing items)
- I prefer to order from new arrivals as older styles will start to show wear overtime
- Large Inventory: As of 6/6/25 they had 12,192 styles available to rent from
- Purchase Option: In my recent rental order with new styles, Nuuly gave me the option to purchase pieces from my rental at 20%–40% off the retail price
- Customer Service: Bomb. If you receive an item with wear or damage let them know and they will refund you a portion for that item + give you a bonus item on your next order!
- Bonus: The Thrift Shop. Subscribers can buy final sale styles that ship for free in your next Nuuly. Sustainable amazing deals!

- $125/month + tax for 5 clothing items & 1 accessory
- Mostly Revolve Brands
- Not Plus Size, Petite & Tall friendly
- Great condition of items received, but their website does not have a New Arrivals sort/filter feature which I dislike
- Small Inventory: As of 6/6/25 they had 2,976 styles available to rent from
- Purchase Option: In my recent rental order, FashionPass gave me the option to buy what I rented -- five items were 10% off, and one was marked down 40% off retail.
- Customer Service: Neutral - I didn't receive damaged items so I didn't have to contact customer service.
- Bonus: 2 orders per month. When you receive your order you can edit out what doesn't work for you, ship it back, and replace those items with new rentals within the 1 month span.
